  • @libalchris ...(even though what is described could hardly be considered dinosaurs) if the evidence shows man and dinosaurs never lived together. I could ask all these questions again, but it would be without point. You would simply move the goalpost again. So perhaps you should try to stop moving the goalpost, and think about things without any preconceptions. Start putting ideas to the test, rather than keeping them just out of reach. You might be surprised at what you find. Have a good day (:

  • @libalchris ... made in 6 days. But you don't want God to be disprovable, you need to convince yourself that he exists, so you move the goalpost. You say "well that wasn't 6 literal days it could have been millions of years, time doesn't matter to God. And the bible talks about dinosaurs" I could then ask you, if without point, why then, if life evolved, that God told us he made it in 6 days. I could also ask why the bible talks about so called dinosaurs...

  • @libalchris Cont. You accept the bible as a description of God and his works, as have Christians throughout the ages. So scientists, being what they are, devise ways to test the bible. They look at genealogies and the words, and determine that according to the bible the earth was created in 6 literal days, about 6000 years ago. Put that to the test, the evidence suggest that the world is 4 billion years old, the universe is 14 billion years old and life evolved over billions of years, not...

  • @demondays132 You should try thinking outside your preconceptions. When you look at the bible indiscriminately you will realize that the bible never tells anything about nature that isn't blatantly obvious. Take the stars for example. Poetry removed, the only thing the bible says is that there are a lot of stars, and they're very beautiful. But a child could tell you that. Being impossible to disprove God isn't a good thing, it's a sign of weakness. True hypotheses are testable. But God isn't.

  • aknowledgement of the age of the universe by a christian?

a new perspective on the quantum time of the universe? Falling into the hand of God?

  • @demondays132 In 7 days, but those 7 days could be millions of years for God. Time doesn't really matter God. It may be hard for you so called scientist to comprehend but God lives outside of time and space and this video describes him as "Indescribable". Scientist can't describe or try to describe God, you can't disprove him! Try but you will never be able to :)

  • Science can't even explain the universe in the way that the bible does? Explain that to me you so called scientist. Science can't even explain a thought, yet the bible talks about that to. People say that the bible refutes dinosaurs, which is completely false. The bible talks about dinosaurs. Science talks about the bible and it suggesting the earth is only 6000 years Approx. That is also False as we do not know how long it took God to create the earth. It talks about God Creating the world

  • Pastors and philosophers/apologists have very different jobs. He's a pastor helping Christians grow in their relationship with Christ. He's not a philosopher offering an apologetic for the existence of God. His point is that God is indescribable and awesome. His point is that this amazing God loves and cares for us despite how small we are, and Louie's doing an excellent job.

  • @EnlightenedReader um...actually, I was referring to the video that you cited. It was an absolute mockery of Jesus.

  • @EnlightenedReader Frankly, I found that video despicable and any Christian should agree.
