i don't think the point of this short is to force "positive black images" onto the world so that they realize that we are more than a bunch of ignorant hood rats, but to show a single reality. Somewhere there is a girl just like this from a rundown town with bad grammar, behaving in an undignified fashion, hanging with the wrong crowd, with a seemingly negative view of the world and the things of this world. Through all that she still looks up beyond our world and finds beauty, truth and hope.

It sounds like you're blaming them because you think she is stereotypical. Which says a lot more about what you think about black people than what P&S do...

So is everyone saying this is racist because there are black people in it? Because he has depicted white people very similarly in all of his films. This has nothing to do with race.

Harmony Korine doesn't glamorize anything. He literally does the exact opposite in every film. And everything he does is nihilistic and alienated, not just his segments about black females.

Plus she isn't unintelligent, she's just got uncommon views on life. Which end up being very intuitive by the end.

this clearly isn't racist at all. it doesn't even mention race... if you find racism in this you're either racist or paranoid
