I don't mind the use of "ethnic" (though it's not meant to be a descriptor for skin color) so much as the fact that all non-white ethnicities are seemingly lumped together. There are a lot of different skin tones and colors to account for when you say "ethnic" and not all tricks and tips will work for all of those ethnicities.

I'm sorry, wth is ETHNIC skin? I clicked on this video purely to investigate wtf it meant. I'm brown, should I start referring to myself as 'ETHNIC skin-toned"?

@pwincessmoi123 I go through the same problem, I am brown but i have yellow undertone! only warm colours suit me (or not)

no one is ever my colour. does anyone know where i can find a brown-ish yellowy person who is making a tutorial???

Agreed with lilacfunk. If you're going to show a video for "ethnic" skin the least you can do is mention colours. Pssshh. If this ethnic skin series is an attempt to diversify your channel then I'm sorry but it fails.

that's all great, but when you go ahead and lighten up "ethnic" skin with light colors just on the face, the darknesss of thands show. Her arms have the original color, beautiful brown, and her face is yellower than a baby chick. Get over lighting the skin. Being lighter is not the only "beautiful". And quit calling it ethnic skin. it's called wheatish or brown.
