Sir Yes I know my History an March Piper was never a Cap an Yes 88-89 they rotated Val was all the Cap an then left an came back sir An for Ms. William she treied out with the Real Sette's an here look's didn't make back then Ms. Otis had some mean rules but I still use to love Ms. William so I don't know what year you was at State for me 86-91

@lpage87...Val was not captain, fully, until 1991...The position of captain rotated in 1990...Now, the position has captain in 1989 may have rotated between the two...Remember, if you know your history, 1988 was an all new squad of J-settes...Piper was the only 1st year J-sette that was not a freshman to JSU, but to the squad...She was a cheerleader 1986/1987, she was also a member of the JSU dance ensemble...Therefor, Mrs. Narrah Dean-Otis positioned her as lead most of the 1989 season.
