A spatchcock, otherwise known as "spattlecock", is poultry or game that is prepared for roasting or grilling by removing the backbone and sternum of the bird and flattening it out before cooking. Spatchcock is the traditional word for the French term "poussin", a juvenile chicken. Spatchcock were generally butterflied in preparation for faster more succulent flame cooking rather than slow roasting, hence the English confusion.
In Australia a Spatchcock refers to a small chicken such as a poussin

First part of my "comment" comes from Wikipedia, as for myself, I sense influences of early Tool (vocal and general structure) in this tune, I like the way it's sung, in such relaxed and clean voice, the wall of sound coming from the band gives a strong support to it. I also like the guitar player who has very good command of his instrument. Bass player does a very good job as well, but they need much better drummer to match their overall skill, this girl slows them down
