  • It's painless and it's brilliant. It is saving my 2 year old son's life and spine at this very moment. The casts are gentle and re-direct the spine during the period of rapid growth, 50 percent of human spinal growth occurs before age 2. It is like the re-direction of a growing vine up a wall. Surgery is the other option for these kids, and can be severely deforming, invasive and painful. EDF casting in the Mehta Method is the gold standard of care for progressive infantile scoliosis. Period.

  • Twisting it back into place?! That sounds painful.
