Climate Change: Beyond Boundaries (© World Health Organization, 2009)

This is a stimulating dance depiction of the impact of global warming and climate change on human health and the environment, using the traditional Bharatanatyam dance and music. As a dominant form of communication, dance has captivated the imagination of generations, its intricate facial and body movements presenting an array of meaning beyond what words can convey. The talented dancers bring to us a fascinatingly nuanced glimpse of the various health implications of climate change - a refreshing slant to advocacy, on a topic dominated usually by words and pictures. World Health Organization South- East Asia Regional Office holds copyright of this video. For wider dissemination, DVDs are available in 5 or 15 minute versions. • Whatta buncha bullshit. Thirty years ago global cooling was all the rage. Now the very same people are making the same power grab using global warming. They are all liars. Just shut the fuck up.

  • awesome!

  • Bravo, Marie and Elango Sir! Very good show! Just goes to prove that traditional dance forms can go a long way in bringing about awareness in just about any issue that concerns our planet! Excellent!

  • What a great way to convey an important message as well as bring forward your beautiful dance form. Marie keep it up!

Elango's voice is also smooth and so well suited. Wish you would also sing some Hindutani classical. Please give it a try and see how your audience responds. I am sure you have a great demand for it in Delhi.

Raghu's flute also sounds peaceful. Bohat achha laga.

  • Very much relevant to our present day world to which we must react with urgency or else ....we have just seen what will happen!

  • Very creative choreography...keep it up...
