@dofubrain i really appreciate u responding like this! that is the best way to shun the negative people. by figuring how to make it better and then getting out there and doing it that much better.

@dofubrain (con't) This song has to build towards that high part with the high A's which you didn't sing " I really wanna that you Lord, I wanna THANK YOU LORD" You weren't singing into the core of your sound, and from what i've heard you've got more in your voice then what you were giving. There is a recording of this from the 2001 cast that did this show, that might be a good example to start with. Should you ever want to build upon this song if you ever revisit it again. But over all nice. =)

@dofubrain This is the only ballad in the show and as far as interpretation goes it is a DECLARATION of the Natural Beauty GOD has created in the world. You didn't really energize the text to create that type of mood/atmosphere for the listener/watcher. Think of a song as a painting. As a singer the images of this painting are brought to life by the emotion in your voice, the movement of your eyes body etc.. As far as technique, part of the blandness of this song was your poor breat support.

I liked this. A heart-felt performance. To be fair though, this is a difficult song pitched too high for the average performer. Take no notice of the critics here. Schwartz would not have been disappointed.

he doesn't even riff that much.
and there are riffs written in the music.
i'm pretty sure a few riffs won't hurt anyone :)
