@PeteGrime damn bro I been trying to figure out how to do this for months, I could not find that information in the manual. Big up on the layer pads too, got anymore tips.

You're changing the tempo of the sample assigned to each pad individually. Can you use one of the knobs or faders to change the pitch of the whole sample program (all the pads) at ones and while playing? I do this all the time on my mp, and it's crucial for my beat making process, in order to decide at what tempo the sample sounds the best or to make it fit a certain tempo. So I need to know if I can do this on the MV as well?

@karlharleman actually i dont usually change the tempo of each pad, I go to the patch edit and change the tempo of the whole patch. Patches are like instruments on the MV and they consist of up to 64 individual pads. So if you go into the patch edit you can change stuff for the whole patch. Push the instruments button, then patch edit on the lower right hand corner

@CoyoteBeats ya man, its really simple to layer samples on the same pad. the quick edit button then SMT. You can layer up to 4 sounds on one pad, then with resample you can really layer forever. Thats how I get my kicks real knocking, low pass bassy kick under midrange punchy kick under hi pass pop kick or even a hi hat. Layering is one of the best features of the MV...its whats keeping me away from buying Machine, I heard layering drums sucks
