Follow these five tips to keep your personal or mini storage unit free of bugs, mice, rats, and other critters.

Hey! It's the Storage Solutions Guy again. It's Monday June 2nd and I'm here to offer you this week's tips on how to keep bugs, mice, and other critters out of your storage unit. Many storage unit property owners would swear it will never happen in their mini storage units, but just in case you want to make sure your couch doesn't become a huge flaming ball of cockroach dung. Or your love seat to become a honeymoon hotel for multiple generations of mice, follow these FIVE tips to keep your unit to critter-free.
1. Before moving furniture into storage clean it and vacuum it thoroughly.
2. Thoroughly clean appliances, large and small, for the same reason. This includes microwaves, blenders etc.
3. Use roach and ant bait.
4. Use mouse and rat baits, or traps with peanut butter instead of cheese.
5. Plug any holes in the top so that birds can get in.

Exellent,
but-- Roaches are not only attracted to food; they're also attracted to high frequencies and voltages.
