I put together a list of the top 3 questions routinely asked, and tried to answer them for you. I had a lot of fun making these. More importantly though, I hope the answers are helpful for you as you embark on your own journey. As always, thanks for watching. :)

Q&A Part 1: (When can I resume lifting and taking care of my children, how tummy tuck pain compares to c-section and childbirth pain, the truth (in my words) about tummy tuck pain in general, the most painful part of the tuck, etc. and muscle repair questions)

Go to http://tummytucktalk.ning.com/main/authorization/signIn?target=http%3A%2F%2Ft... -- it is an incredible PRIVATE network where you can connect with others for great advice and support along your tummy tuck journey. There is a screening process, so make sure you mention my name "Becky" -- tell them that you were referred by me. And make sure you fill out accurately all questionaries, otherwise you will not meet approval to join the group.

  • hey becky you look really good ..... I just had tummy tuck its my third week .... still bottom part look really big and i look like if i am pregnant...... also tell me how can i loose extra lbs

  • @naheed8306 I worked out like a mad woman for 3 months to loose the weight and limited my diet to 1200 calories a day.

  • Did you drop a dress size?

  • @tennesseekings Ooooh yes! I have dropped 3 dress sizes!

  • Becky - thanks so much for your videos. They've been so helpful! I'm close to the 3 month mark from my tummy tuck. My stomach area is still extremely sore. Was yours at that point? At what point did you notice that this soreness went away? How soon did you start to wear pants with buttons/zippers?

  • @sassypuck I think I started wearing regular pants at around 3 months. I would say the incision was sore for a good 3-4 months, and I still experience some slight muscle repair pain even 1 1/2 years later.

  • Thanks to your videos I think I have officially decided to have a tummy tuck after I have one more baby. I have a 4 month old. My problem is I'm covered in stretch marks! Did you have any? I know from belly buttom down then will be gone but what if their on your hips? Anyone who didn't get them I am so jealous. -_-

  • Hello Becky. How much was that surgery (if you don't mind me asking) and can you share the surgeons info? I'm searching for an excellent doctor who can perform the same for me. Thanks for sharing!! ;)

  • I just had my tummy tuck on May 5, 2011. I have watched all of your videos and they helped me get a perspective on what I was going to go through. You look really good and I want to thank you for posting your journey. I also would like to add that I agree with you that the muscle repair is the most painful part of the surgery. I had problems coughing and trying to sit and get up. I also puked 4 days after and I wanted to die. You don't really know how much you use your stomach muscles.

  • Becky.....I am going for my tummy tuck on May 2nd. Thank you so much for sharing your story you have been an inspiration to me! I am so excited, and nervous, but most of all I am excited. This is something I have dreamed about for 19 years. Once again thank you for sharing and you look FABULOUS!!!!

  • Your videos are very informative and helpful! Thx for the posts!!!

  • @beckrsr Thanks for responding. I was wondering if you could give me more insight into not having the surgery before having kids. I really want to get this done because my stomach always forces me to wear a size bigger than the rest of my body.

  • lol

  • Hi Becky,

I just found your videos last week and have found them very informative. I am considering a tummy tuck myself...I have had two 9 pound babies :o) I'm sure you've probably answered this question before but I am curious what exercise routine you followed after your surgery?

    Thank-you,

    Kristine

  • You look AMAZING! Yes, because of the TT but because you look happy! Your coloring is good, your attitude is great, and you inspire me. I am 4 weeks and 2 days post op. I've had 2 open ovarian surgeries and open appendectomy ... they hurt WORSE than the TT, BY FAR! Just my experience. :) TY for sharing your story.
