    Stop comparing this cover to Michael's song. They're too different in genres (Michael's original version has a very fast tempo and is as pop as you get), whereas Cook's version brings an entirely different meaning through it's ballad-like structure. If you don't like this version, don't listen to the cover. If you don't like the Michael Jackson original, then don't listen to it and listen to this. It really isn't that complicated. :/

    He's covering Chris Cornell's version... It's good but just sayin'... Cornell had the idea to spin the song... that, to me, is the genius behind this version. Great job David Cook (have never heard any of your original stuff) and good luck.
