@ladyvista ...but a conscientious user will likely want to branch out beyond the built-in app store to take advantage of a greater range of Android based apps through other outlets such as the Google or Amazon app stores. I opted to not go into detail with the built-in apps (though I probably should have) because most dedicated Android users I know prefer to avoid many stock apps (or delete them) if they know that better and more powerful apps are just a few clicks away.
@ladyvista As far as email, yes, this is a full-featured tablet that can do pretty much anything you would typically expect from a tablet (and with the IR port - maybe even a little more), but with things like email and other app based functionality many such things may be subject to whatever app a user prefers to use - and this device comes bundled with a full array of functional apps, plus quick access to the Verizon app store...
@ladyvista Thank you. I wasn't sure how to convey the audio output through this video since it was only going to be picked up in my lav mic and would sound tinny and far away, thereby not doing it any justice - and also subjected to whatever speakers the viewer was watching the video with - so not much of a way to give an accurate affect for what this little tablet puts out.
Great research involved for this product! I liked the graphics and that we didn't dwell on the unboxing and got right to the use of the Xyboard. Also the comparisons to other tablets put the Xyboard's size into perspective, and camera comparisons. Would have liked to hear the sound since you said it was so good. I suppose this is a dumb question, but emailing is part of its capabilities, right? Thanks for a good look at this tablet. Great job!
