50th BDay at DigThis in Las Vegas

Celebrated my 50th birthday at DigThis in Las Vegas. The 2 1/2 hour experience on an excavator included a short orientation, digging a trench, stacking truck tires, and picking up basketballs and dropping them into a tire. It was a load of fun. I watched a few YouTube videos on operating Cat excavators, and did a little air-operating for practice before doing the experience, and I think that made it more enjoyable, because I was able to get the hang of it quicker than the others there who hadn't prepared. I highly recommend DigThis.
