Is Sharia Law Being Practiced in Dearborn Michigan

Christians were arrested in Dearborn on a public street across from a Arab festival. They were being heckled & cursed at, but the Christians were having a civil conversation with others there, then the police came and arrested the peaceful Christians. It appears Sharia law was being enforced by the police there. We have our own law in America, it's called the Constitution. The Constitution and 1st amendment is what allows other religions to freely worship here, but does not allow another law system to operate independently of the Constitution. When this goes to court the City of Dearborn will lose. This should be a wake up call to other cities with mosques and the potential of what can happen. There is one about to be constructed in Murfreesboro,Tn ....this same thing could happen there in a few years after a stronger foothold is established there.

@omsmada In no way were they infringing on the rights of others. As far as the First Amendment goes, your ignorance is abounding. Both sides are protected by the First Amendment. The Christians did not stop them, it was the other way around. Our constitution overrides Sharia Law, not the other way around.

I`m an atheist and was going down to check out the festival with my atheist wife. We wanted to sample a little bit of the arab culture and food, but were abused by christians similar to these guys. When we told them we wern`t Muslim or Christian they got extremely angry, claiming that we were turning our backs on god. I told them i have been an atheist all my life and god has never had my back, which made them even angrier.
