My octogenarian mom raised hemp as a girl in eastern Kentucky, as part of the Hemp For Victory program during WWII. It's long past time to have a new Hemp For Victory effort. It's ridiculous that the federal government is preventing Kentucky from growing hemp. We should stop begging the federal government and simply nullify their nonsensical hemp prohibition.

let's stop trying to ban marijuana by breeding it out with so called industrial hemp, but instead, grow marijuana, and sell the buds for use of free thinking individual that understand the unconstitutional illegal laws are a mass hallucination caused by propaganda NOT MARIJUANA!!!, this way the government won't be carrying out domestic terrorism in violation of the Constitution of the United States and industrial hemp products can still be used for industrial purposes.

HOO-RAH! It's been TOO LONG in coming, but this gives me hope for a measure that could, without exaggeration, revolutionize job creation in Kentucky. I have written to my representatives some time ago advocating for this. I won't hold my breath just yet, but it's especially encouraging seeing Rand Paul, who I have met personally and been impressed with, taking up a common sense MAJOR solution for Kentucky employment and general economy.
