The twenty third and twenty forth flights of Masten Space Systems (http://www.masten-space.com/) XA-0.1B-750 VTVL rocket vehicle.

The first test is our standard short hop that we like to perform as a check out run to make sure all systems are functional. The second test is our first take off and landing from the ground. The landing disabled some parts on our new landing gear, but the damage is minor and our machinist had improved parts ready in a couple of hours.

More flights will be posted as we plan to fly every day in preparation for the Northrop-Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge competition. Our first competition window is next week for level one. Wish us luck and somebody find Mr. Murphy and shut him in a closet for the next week.

  • Good luck with the NGLLC next week! I'll keep Mr. Murphy occupied here!

  • Haha, I like the response after the first flight. Starting to feel the pressure, huh? Anyway, good luck this week guys! I'll be rooting for you. It's great to see others than AA flying.
