-¨VENUS AND MARS¨-
Sitting in the stand of the sports arena
Waiting for the show to begin
Red lights, green lights, strawberry wine,
A good friend of mine, follows the stars,
Venus and mars
Are alright tonight.

-¨ROCK SHOW¨-
What's That Man Holding In His Hand?
He Looks A Lot Like A Guy I Knew Way Back When
Its Silly Willy With Philly Band
Could Be...Oo-Ee...
What's That Man Movin' Cross The Stage?
It Looks A Lot Like The One Used By Jimmy Page
Its Like A Relic From A Different Age
Could Be...Oo-Ee...

If There's Rock Show
At The Concertgebow
They're Got Long Hair
At The Madison Square
You've Got Rock And Roll
At The Hollywood Bowl,
We'll Be There...Oo Yeah...

The Lights Go Down - They're Back In Town O.K.
Behind The Stacks You Glimpse An Axe
The Tension Mounts You Score An Ounce Ole!
Temperatures Rise As You See The White Of Their Eyes

If There's Rock Show
At The Concertgebow
You're Got Long Hair
At The Madison Square
They've Got Rock And Roll
At The Hollywood Bowl,
We'll Be There...Ow Yeah...

In My Green Metal Suit I'm Preparing To Shoot Up The City
And The Ring At The End Of My Nose Makes Me Look Rather Pretty
Its A Pity There's Nobody Here To Witness The End
Save For My Dear Old Friend And Confidante - Madamoiselle Kitty

What's That Man Movin' To And Fro?
That Decibel Meter Doesn't Seem To Be Reading Low.
But They Was Louder At The Rainbow
Could Be...Oo-Ee...

If There's Rock Show
At The Concertgebow
They're Got Long Hair
At The Madison Square
You Got Rock And Roll
At The Hollywood Bowl,
We'll Be There
Yeah...

Lennon versus McCartney? Seriously who gives a fuck? These lads made great music together and as solo artists. Deal.

Paul wrote from his joy. John wrote from his pain. Individually they were great but together they were phenomenal.

Those who insist on pitting one Beatle against the other are ridiculously brainless!

I think they both would have "made it" without the other -- but not as big. It was serendipity that they met, and wrote together. Maybe one of those "godwinks" you hear about nowadays.

John was the one who brought Paul into his band, so I don't think it'd be far fetched at all to say Paul wouldn't have made it without John, and that John might not have made it without Paul.

All three in the Beatles were amazing writers, George Harrison, John Lennon, and Paul McCartney. The end.

This song was the first place I heard the name "Jimmy Page."

its impossible to compare Lennon vs MACCA nowadays, because Lennon didn´t have the opportunity of musical progress for 30 years like MACCA did. In 1980 who was better? that would be the correct question.

Ambos temas son de 10 estrellas. Paul siempre fue un musico de primera. 10 estrellas.

So you really believe all the "Paul is dead" crap, huh? It really amazes me how gullible some people can be. If Paul is "dead," and John wrote "Venus and Mars/Rock Show," then who wrote all the stuff that Paul has recorded, under his name, since 1980? I've got news for you: John is dead!

Any attempt to compare Lennon and McCartney is nothing more than blowing hot air. They both had amazing strengths and I absolutely agree with Joe Mayo. The legendary music they made is all that matters. Deal.
