nice apartment. I was thinking of going to college in China. I wanted to become a foreign language teacher. What school do you recommended? What school do you go to if you don't mind me asking? How is life there for you?

@seekersjournal Hey, Lucky's still exists? Went there 2 years ago, planning to go back to Jiaojiang this summer.
But still prefer Beijing, more action, more choice.

yeah i know nancy all too well, sadly we did not have a very pleasant farewell in the end. I worked in Web international english in jiaojiang for ages then a few months in EF where joseph was the boss at the time. Everyone i knew from luckys and taizhou moved on pretty quick but i stayed for a while longer until it just got pointless. I met jo but i think she went to thailand or something

@seekersjournal hi. i worked in luqiao over a year ago for a middle school, hence the apartment being inside the school campus. i had friends who worked in birmy, joelle and bruno. and i've been to lucky's a few times. strange we never met. i'm guessing you know nancy from luckys.

I used to work for Web international english. the pay is ok. I miss the place. If you ask everyone at luckys pub or anywhere if they know emely from Australia they will all say yes. I was working in Taizhou teaching for about 2 years so it was difficult to let go. You will find something to do besides hanging out with chinese ppl from school in ktvs. Just go to that place i told u lots of foreigners. Also check out a club called 'BAidu'. its crazy but watch out for the fire!

Let me guess you're a newbie or working for one of those english schools like Birmingham? I have been to luqiao its such a boring place to me and its dirty. I was in china taizhou 6 mths ago but left. If you go to Jiaojiang its a town about 40 mins away from luqiao you'll find all the foreigners in taizhou there. Go to a place called Lucky's pub or just tell the taxi to drop you off at 'Hai Tien Yuan', across from Hai tien yuan is the pub. There is also another one called Naps pub, if ur bored
