This is video I took of my house in the Republic of where I served as a Peace Corps volunteer until the Russian/Georgian conflict forced us to evacuate.

  • I'm leaving for Georgia in a month to teach!! So excited...Soo...for that toilet...do you have to rinse it with bucket water if you sprinkle when you tinkle? And how private does it actually 'feel'?

  • @agrus001 hey- congrats on going to Sakartvelo! As for the squatters- no rinsing required. (You'll get pretty good at aiming.) As for privacy, every squatter is different. Some have locks, some don't, some have solid doors and some are a bit less solid. Some places even have indoor squatters which are basically porcelain holes. You will find some western style toilets in Georgia, but don't flush toilet paper, toss it in the garbage can. Have a blast teaching in Georgia!

  • I'm leaving for Georgia anytime soon, and I wanna congratulate you for enduring such trial . I thought t'was kinda funny but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to laugh once I'm actually there.   • I know what it's like to live in Georgia because I've been there for 30 years right here in Atlanta!It isnt so bad but Atlanta has some awful traffic!She must be somewhere in rural Georgia like near Columbus or Valdosta.
