Not worms. Dogs need their anal glands expressed. This is called 'scooting" and its a SIGN.

@tiger315415: Not true. You don't think that a dog has an occasional itch? My dog doesn't have worms or internal parasites -- per the Vet as of 1/20/12 -- and she will occasionally do this. One of the reasons I invested in a good carpet shampooer.
