  • 15:25 There's a class war coming!" Too right mate!

  • Hats off to the guys that produced this video.

Everyone in the trade has know about this for years, but it's great that these guys are shoving it right in the noses of the general public, through naming and shaming these multi-nationals. Make no mistake about it blacklisting really does destroy peoples lives.

    Well done fellas!

  • It goes on here and if you can get a lawyer to call on intercom in presence of an official (can't record without consent) so you need to set up a fake inquiry about the person , asking for a reference and there must be credible witnesses present to listen to the call; that's how it's done.

  • I have been blacklisted by Telecom New Zealand after protesting about redundancy in auckland nz.25 years in the industry non stop. They got the police to raid my house in an attempt to fit me up which failed. How can I redress this, can anyone help me ?

  • Thanks for this. I was sacked by Australia Post on trumped up charges. Part of the evidence against me was that I was a committed Socialist. The case got thrown out on appeal. Better to be honest and on a blacklist than a blackleg cheating on your workmates.

  • The first political meeting I attended at the local trade club had Des Warren speaking in defence of Shrewsbury building workers. Much respect to Des.

  • Brilliant expose of these big businesses who are increasing their attacks A capitalist crisis does not necessarily mean a crisis for capitalists. Only by the determined collective effort of all of us can we make it a crisis FOR the capitalist class and not just OF capitalism.

  • Some of the files from the Consulting Association blacklist run to over 50 pages!!

Its not surpising that so many of the guys have been out of work for long periods. These multi-nationals think they are above the law - and sometimes it looks like they are - so far only 2 fellas have actually won a legal case against any of them and most of the legal claims have been thrown out by the coursts for being out of time.

But the campaign continues: its about justice & human rights.

    Spread the word

  • Funnily enough I'm one of the few trade union activists to have a copy of my own Blacklisting report. I was a union rep at a London Transport garage and my manager told me I was being suspended as he had been given information about me.I said I had better see it, and he let me have a copy. Did he get in trouble!

My Employment Tribunal was settled without a hearing as I later got information how my sacking had been planned a long time beforehand.

Good to see these men keeping up the fight.

  • Stay strong solidarity is the only way forward. Maratime Union Of New Zealand
