The love of my life caught the first few feet of the first ride on my first HD. Of course, it is the beautiful black denim fat bob.

  • Took delivery of my red 'Bob in mid-April and had detachable windscreen, midrise backrest and highway bars put on it. Mine has the full forward pegs (with switchblade heel rests). I was intimidated by them at first but it's actually a pretty comfortable ride. I'm unnerved by the amount of rocker noise it makes - I can even hear it at cruising speeds! My Star 650 Classic is whisper quiet and have been told it's normal. Only 770 miles on it so far. But am digging it big time!!

  • @snsams6

It can sound a little noisy. Some say adding redline (sp?) kills the noise. I just use HD synthetic blend!

  • "Jake"....do you have any shots of the right side of this bike? I'm foaming at the mouth to get my 1st Harley.....also a Fatbob... but haven't seen one yet with the MIDMOUNT controls.

  • @snsams6

I do have a ton of photos. Sorry I didnt get back to you...but looks like you pulled the trigger! Have fun and be safe!

  • it's a KID

  • @quemero95

I think I was 30 in the video. But on this thing I did feel like a kid in a candy store!

  • lovely wife - i guess :P

  • lol... look at those clothes XD

  • Fat Bobs are the absolute best non-bagger available from HD

  • Smile! Nice Ride...

  • @jakehjakeh Cool thanks for the input . All the models on display at my local dealer all had forward controls yours and one other video I saw had mid mounts. I wasn't aware it was an option, but its nice to know that I could get it that way. I'm going from a sport bike to a cruiser and it too would be my first Harley. It just makes more sense to me to have the pegs under you. just felt awkward with forward controls. Thanks again for your input . It is a great looking bike , Stay Safe My friend.

Hey Todd, I am about 5'9 and the front controls seemed a little bit of a stretch. This bike really handles well and you want your knees squeezed up against the tank when you are leaning into the twisties. I have installed forward foot pegs and that takes care of the long rides. At about 13,000 miles now (this video was taken when the bike had 2 miles on it) I cant say I've really wanted for anything with this bike. I have heard folks wish they had gone mid mount...
