Here's a video of my Nokia N95 (under 4 weeks old) with screen problems. The phone has not suffered any falls, humidity or liquid of any kind. It just started acting up on it's own. The phone is running the latest firmware update (12.0.0.13) but it hasn't had any problem until now.

I believe it's the ribbon connector behind the slider. Nokia Greece wants to send it to Germany for a service. I want it replaced with a new one!

  • mine has this problem how i fix it i need help please help someone i dont have much mony 2 spend on repars :'(

  • Well, mine was under 4 weeks old at the time, so it was still under it's warranty. Nokia fixed it, no charge.

Actually, it's been nearly two years now, and my N95 is behaving absolutely great. Despite the drops and falls, I never had a problem again, so OBVIOUSLY what I wrote 2 years ago was true, it was a faulty part.
