Can you blame me for predicting they would suck? The only true differing piece is Clint Hurdle. Also, the year isn't over. It's July 5th and they are 3 games over 0.500. We all need to take a step back and have this convo in Sept.

@Yiannis666 My family is from Chicago - so yes I guess I'm a "Jack off" who likes the White Sox. Nice one. Anyway, congrats on going to games at 3 rivers. So have I, and so have most residents of Western Pennsylvania - it's not that impressive and doesn't mean you're a real fan. Also, you need to check your Pirates history, Mr. "Real" fan. In '97, the Pirates not only were almost .500, but they also almost won the division. Have a nice day.

Even after I moved to Connecticut and the Pirates played horrible for so many years I coulda easily became a Yankees or Red Sox fan but I didn't. The Pirates are one game over 0.500. Forgive me if I don't get excited. All of a sudden, you're a "real" Pirates fan just like all the other "real" Pirates fans that are coming to Pirates games now.
