But Salif replied by sayin that he would die if he did not sing, that music is just eating him from inside. Sina is the name of Salif's father, who died years ago. Salif is praising is father's humanity. His father in the beginning did not want him to become a singer saying music was for the griots and that salif was descendant of emperor Sunjata Keita, for whom griot sang.
