Just my opinion on Simons VA: I just personally think he could have had more emotion in that speech. It was such an integral part to the series and to the character Simon in general. This isn't about dubs vs subs, since one of my favorite epic monologues is Domon Kasshu's from G-Gundam (Dubbed even). Again...I just find the Japanese VA to be more emotional with the speech then the English one. Just my two cents.

dub vs. sub, sub vs. dub, I'm sick of it! "force yourself down a path you choose to take and do it all yourself!" some of us choose to walk a familiar path, a path we understand and know fondly. others choose a unique path, a path that is walked strenuously and beyond the limitations of others. whether it be dub or sub, the path is the same, gurren lagann! I for one like both the dub and sub, both versions have voices that fit the characters well. so quit complaining and enjoy the manliness.
