This song is a very early Bowie Song from I think 1967. I believe it's his first album. It seems to be almost non existant on CD, even thoug I did find it. First post of it on You Tube. Audio only with a few pictures though it's nothing we haven't seen before. Please enjoy.

  • I first heard this song when I was 16, and I just screamed and screamed. It terrified me.

It still give me the creeps 20 years later. Brrrr..

  • why the hell would anyone be scared of this song?

  • Think about the story. That man, and his relationship with his Mother. What that man must be like. Urgh *shudder*

  • well yea but I mean it's also about forgiveness and realizing your mistakes. AND OMFG I JUST REALIZED WHAT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT! my god I've been listening to this song for like a year too. I can't believe I never realized that. mabe it's just like he was a mamaa's boy or something. hopefully that's it.

  • nice song. is this album only avaliable on the 'The Deram Anthology 1966 - 1968' CD or can you get it on its own on CD. I looked an amazon but that was the only one with his really early songs on it.

I wonder if anyone had any idea that he would become so great when they heard these first songs?!

  • Yes I believe they recently (like 2004 not so recent) re-issued them and also did so to his first album.

  • I know I'm the only one, but I think his first album was the best.

  • i actually have this album on cassette tape i thought it was really funny most of it

  • The track´s from DAVID BOWIE Images 1966-1967 (Scarce 1973 US 'bonus pak' 21-track London label double LP set, features early Bowie tracks recorded in London during 1966/67, this album has never been reissued, promo stickered 'cartoon' illustrated gatefold picture sleeve with biographical details inside!
