I've got three of them. They're fantastic. How far did you think you were going to get?

jessetabak... have you tried using the trasmitter to watch tv/movies? I bought Motorola DC800 BT transmitter and there was a very noticeable lag between my Motorola S305 headset and the transmitter. Couldn't use it to watch TV. Sound had a second delay.

how do you sent a signal from your laptop to sony device? Have you received any additional software with device?

get airport extreme it uses wifi instead

It's probably not the receiver, its the transmitter.

I've got the same transmitter/receiver like u have.i use my iphone and its fine even behind the concrete wall.but if i use my netbook the problem is the same like yours.

I do not think bluetooth audio receivers are designed for more than 4 Meters from the transmitter.

it's the same when I use my sonyericsson phone.

audio quality is fine, can't go much further than 4 meters
