the z4 is a cool car, buth, as the z3 it misses a bit of power.
the 350 amg, 3.5L v6 kompressor, (supercharger) is the fastest. it isn't ugly. it's a convertible, and it has a fair bit of class. and for under €20.000,- second hand, it isnt expansive....
