Episode 23: Yuki no Sanjusan Gen Do (Snow of 33 Halls). From the 1984 NHK TV series starring Koji Yakusho. Note the words "Ni Ten" (Two Sky) and "Go Rin" (Five Rings) at the end. Ni Ten is the name of his two-sword style and Go Rin is his famous Book of Five Rings.

  • @2wingo The bulk of Yakusho Koji's Musashi series did follow Yoshikawa Eiji's novel, but the ending of this saga was a definite departure. In this series Musashi rows his boat back from his duel with Kojiro to the waiting arms of Otsuu-san.

    原作の身の丈六尺のイメージは役所さんにぴったりです

    

  • この曲を編曲というか、尺の短いところを書き足してこの年の吹奏­楽コンクールの課題曲に仕立てたんだよね。「まんまじゃんか」っ­て評判が多かった様な(^_^;)。曲は確かにかっこいいけどね­。
