No, they don't -- but Qs that only back up and block don't work, either. The best Qs -- Kuroda (the Q player here), TM, TK -- always hang the threat of a big-damage Dash Attack over the opponent's head. If you only defend, you won't ever create an opening to perform taunts.

Kuroda has the right balance on both which is why he is most likely the best player in japan right now.....TM, and TK cant really defend as well as he can....let alone get outta tight spots in the corner....but overall...i give MAD props to Q players...it takes skill to be that good with Q
