  • Very well done and helpful. I am going to go read the backs of all my product bottles. The funny thing is I am allergic to Coconut, so most of my hair care products are natural based since chemical-based products have several coconut derivatives in them.

    Thanks for sharing. Blessings.

  • Yeah, I was shocked and disappointed that so many toxic chemical were in the products I use every day. I know the relaxer is bad and just became clear on how bad. But I did not know my conditioners and styling products were so terrible. I know sulfates are bad but on top of the half of the other ingredients they through in as well.

I am going to try beauty 4 ashes they have all 100% natural products .. or so the label read..

  • don't you have a relaxer in your hair? pretty sure those ingredients are much worse...

  • Yes, chemical relaxers are much worse but most people are aware of that.

Unfortunately I was relaxed before I know anything about damages of chemical treatments. Most ingredients in this video we use every week and some every day. I am considering not relaxing and going natural.

I thought my shampoos and conditioner we safe I found this very interesting.

    Did you?

  • hi, i wanted to ask if u hav any information about an ingredient ammonium chloride? which is in one product i previously purchased.

  • I found a food product that had propylene glycol in it this week - a frozen treat.

  • hi,

I went and check every product that I'm using for my skin and hair evry one of them contains mineral oil (paraffinum liquidum) or petrolatum.

    Baby products contain this to.

I wonder why they put it in the product if it's bad ?

  • Petrolatum protects the hair and scalp by acting as a barrier against heat as well as harmful chemicals such as those found in shampoos, relaxers, dyes and bleaches, and the glue used with hair weaves.

  • petrolatum i heard was just a myth ,

i have a product with that in it and it contains 20 herbal oils and says its natural , is it still bad , its a hair and scalp conditioner ?

  • Don't forget that some of the chemicals have neurological effects as well, African queen. That raises the level of seriousness now doesn't it?

  • WOW!! I heard before about deodarants giving you cancer and stuff but I for some reason it never even crossed my mind that getting perms or putting on various lotions or using some shampoos or conditioners could do the same.... I love doing and finding research about these things so please keep me and everyone esle posted. thank you!! i love your videos!
