  • This brings back some great memories. I can remember begging mom for quisp and quake cereals everytime she would take me to the store, must of drove her nuts lol. After watching this I wonder if William Conrad's Quake voice provided any inspiration at all to Patrick Warbuton's Tick. They sound similar to me...course I may still be on a sugar rush from all the cereal that I ate in the 70s

  • @spirtw72 Actually Quisp was racing Simon, The Quagaroo in those ads. I think those ads started airing about 1972/1973.

  • I remember when Quisp and Quake were racing from Long Island, NY to Lompoc, CA. When did that ad campaign start?

  • Jay Ward produced the "Quake"/"Quisp" spots. William Conrad is the voice of "Quake"; June Foray is "Mama"; Daws Butler is "Quisp", and Paul Frees is the unnamed "bank robber" [he was also a key voice in "The Impossibles" cartoon segments!].
