Black Roman Legionnaire you ask? Simple: Rome had provinces in North Africa for centuries. Through the process of "Romanization", the state recognized the people in these conquered lands as Roman Citizens hence eligible to serve in the Legions.

The Roman army contained many races and peoples within it. Africans,Spanish,Greeks,Gaul's etc....it wasn't a white ayran army at all. Do learn some history.
