This concerto has never been played so well. Everything is here. ....every note is clear and played musically. Great care has been afforded the left hand work also. My 'best I ever heard' award. Powerfully musical and as though I had never heard the piece before.

Yundi tiene el don de poder interpretar todo aquello que este a su alcance, simplemente por que es maginifico! :D

@sopoanga I think his Tarantella is the best I've heard, Kissin might excel him in the Campanella, and I still think Valentina owns the Totentanz-- but I haven't heard Yundi play that. In general I agree.

Back in about 2000, Yundi Li played at the Junior Bachaur piano competition. He played this for his 'concerto' piece. They had a second pianist play the orchestral part. Anyways, I remember I sat in front of him, so I couldn't see his hands. But it made me listen more. It was incredible.
The other pianists, who had been eliminated, were raving about his performance afterwards during the intermission. I overheard one saying that the performance could easily have sold as a recording...

The Conductor is an Estonian-American
yundi li seems to me as one of the best interpreter of liszt's music.
The rendering is so clear and perfectly under control.
