Lorne is the Atlantis version of SG-1's Col. Reynolds who always has to take SG-3 to bail out SG-1 when they get into trouble!

I know Lorne is in SG-1, that's where I first saw him before he was even on Atlantis.
Loved him in SG-1's season 7 episode "Enemy Mine"!
I have to admit Lorne sure had a character growth from being someone who had once vomited at seeing a corpse to leading the military forces on Atlantis!
