Yeh, that's right. Don't make the same mistake I did though; I inadvertently rendered my interlaced video footage to a WMV which changes it to progressive. By the time I realised this I had already uploaded it. Maybe in the future I will re-upload it with the fields blended as that seemed to help

Use the WMV format for best quality at lowest file size. Image size: 1280x720 (or higher but that will mean much bigger file size) and if you are using interlaced footage, change the setting of Vegas to "progressive" and "blend" the fields as WMV only renders in progressive scan. Then set the bit-rate to about 6 mbps then save.
