Some HD footage taken on the Common. Just really testing the camcorders capabilities and the settings required to upload to YouTube.

  • what are the sony vegas hd settings?

  • Use the WMV format for best quality at lowest file size. Image size: 1280x720 (or higher but that will mean much bigger file size) and if you are using interlaced footage, change the setting of Vegas to "progressive" and "blend" the fields as WMV only renders in progressive scan. Then set the bit-rate to about 6 mbps then save.

  • nice!

  • Cheers :p

  • Yeh, that's right. Don't make the same mistake I did though; I inadvertently rendered my interlaced video footage to a WMV which changes it to progressive. By the time I realised this I had already uploaded it. Maybe in the future I will re-upload it with the fields blended as that seemed to help

  • No because I already know them! 1280x720 right? lol

  • Yes it's not bad. Would you like to know the export settings from Vegas?

  • Wow nice quality!

  • lol thanks

  • First view,and first comment. :D

I liked the ducks, swans and slow-mo :P
