  • thanks for the comments guys

  • is there a cooking video coming up next? What does it taste like? in a survival situation would you use the fur too?

  • @JimboJitsu This particular day we did not shoot a video on cooking the squirrel. I assure you this will not be my only squirrel this season since I love to hunt and eat them so I will get one out next time I go out. As far as the taste..well...taste like squirrel...lol...hard to explain but it is good, to me anyway. And yes there are many uses of the rest of the squirrel besides just the meat..Will get a video up on that also in the future just dont hold me to a soon time frame. Thanks

  • great vid nice one. never eaten or gutted squirrel before but will soon be on my way into sherwood forest and bag a couple of them after seeing your vid thanks trev

  • @EarthWalkerPrimitive how did u guys kill it

  • Fantastic video! Thank you for sharing!

By pulling the skin off like a sock, does it prevent small hairs from getting on the meat?

    All the best,

  • @JimboJitsu Squirrel tastes much like chicken but has a different texture. It also has a slightly nutty, earthy flavor. It goes well with spicy preparation or deep fried like chicken.

  • Great video!

One way to get the wind pipe out real clean... Split the ribs up from the gut cavity to the neck line. Then grab the wind pipe and the guts just fall out.

Keep it up! I am cooking up some tonight too!

  • i usually cut off tail, head and legs. make a cut straight throught the middle then pull. yall did it all brutally :P

  • alway a good idea to show finish product

  • @MrCableguyken Small world Ken!
