btw sprite animation is not enabled in this video but it will of course be in the final game. this video is just using the production rom which doesn't have animation

Is that ending a tribute to Commander Keen? The game programmed to be the Mario for PC that Nintendo turned down. There's a part where you go to rescue someone and they're like 'Thanks for saving me, but I'm just a janitor...'
