The subject of 2011's "Crash's Scratch-Build Club" is my QSC TriCopter. We'll show you everything you need to know about putting one of these beasts in the air, from scratch-building the airframe, selecting and installing the power system, and even building the Multii-Wii based Flight Stabilization system!

If you'd like to build along with us on this unique project listen to my podcast for all of the details:

http://www.TheCrashCast.com

And check out my support site's new "Multi-Rotors!!!" section at:

Thanks for watching!

  • @3:28 Your the first person ive heard say this!! I use Supersoft start!! ;0)

  • Excellent video, I've built tricopters and quadcopters using the 4 gyros and the kkmulticopter board. I've been reading up on the wii system and it is really great to find a quality video to really see what I've been reading about. Great job!!

  • Congratulations! You rock.

  • Enjoyed the Build Videos, looks pretty cool and I like your Frame design too, and using the Multi Wii based stabilisation with Arduino board looks to be pretty straight forward too, and fairly easily setup, and allot more stable than the 4 x gyro's method
