@proUterForum That is complete bullshit. The Romans have far more artefacts and statues dedicated to the Lions. The Romans also used Lions as their symbols of war.
Type into Google images 'Roman Lion artefacts' and you will see hundreds of Lion statues, rings, painting, handles etc.
Now type 'Roman Tiger artefacts', the Romans have virtually NOTHING dedicated to Tigers. Honestly there are a few paintings, THATS IT.
The Romans supported Lions over Tigers because Lions dominated Colosseums.

The Lion, I agree, was not phased by the grip the tiger had. After they hosed both off they both ran off. Lion was throwing the tiger around most of the battle. If the Tiger felt it could take the Lion then why would it turn around and run away a bunch of times?
