12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi wanted to enter Britain's Got Talent to share his talent and his passion for music with the nation. With help from his mum, he's prepared a performance to his, and his granddad's favourite song - Valerie. Unfortunately, Simon's not very impressed with the song selection. I like the fact that Shaheen isn't super-super young, so he is aware of what he is doing! He sings with soul and maturity. Beautiful.

I do agree, though, that once the initial shock about Susan's looks compared to her formidable talent has worn off, everyone will be judged based on their performance.
