"It's time for you to come home..." The way too familiar voice faded and cracked. I couldn't believe it! A huge smile spread across my lips and I quickly pulled out of Ricky's arms. I turned to the door and saw the most gorgeous man standing there. I laughed and then ran into his arms. Something was wrong, he wasn't hugging me back. I pulled away awkwardly, with absolutely no idea what's wrong. I looked up at him and he looked mad, disappointed and sad. I didn't get what was going on.
He pushed me away and shook his head "I can't believe I flew all those miles for this crap" He said and walked away, out of the house.
I didn't get it, I just stood there speechless, not able to move "Seriously what's your problem, go after him!" I heard Ricky say behind me. I didn't hesitate another second and ran after him. He was quickly walking at the beach, I stopped for a second, he looked so cute when he was mad, I then continued and ran after him.
"Nick! Wait up!" I shouted but no sign of him stopping. "Nick! Come on, wait!" I shouted again, still he didn't stop. I got mad and the yelled at the top of my lunges "Nicholas Jerry Jonas, wait up!" Finally, he stopped, seriously, I didn't know what this all was about! "What's wrong with you?" I could finally ask him, once I've approached him.
"What's wrong with me!?" He was loud, uh oh "I can't believe it! Celina, I trusted you on this!" He was slightly tearing up "You were just away for what? Like 10 days? Apparently that is enough for you to love someone else!" He yelled right into my face.
I felt tears pulling up my eyes too "Nick, what do you mean?" I asked quietly and slung my hands around my body, rubbing my arms. "I love you, only you!" I said looking him straight into the eyes.
He shook his head and I saw a tear rolling down his cheek "You don't. All this time I thought you would, but obviously you don't" He shook his head.
"I do!" I exclaimed "Why do you even think that I don't love you?" I kept the volume loud.
"You're awesome Ricky. I love you!" He imitated me.
I laughed, he had to be kidding "Are you kidding me?" I asked.
"So now you even think it's funny. Great" He said and walked off again.
I ran after him "No Nick wait, you have to be kidding me right? Like Ricky?" I asked in disbelief.
"Or whatever that guy's name was" He snapped.
I shook my head and giggled "Ricky is my cousin!" I laughed. "I said that I love him in a family way!"
I looked up at Nick who was in a shock. I couldn't define it though "Uuh" He said awkwardly looking down at his feet.
"It meant nothing Nick, well just that he's my cousin and uhm, I don't think that I would h..." I said and was cut off by his lips crashing down on mine.
I barely pushed away, that our lips were still touching "Finally" I smiled and then kissed him again. Finally I felt his lips on mine again, after such a long time, I couldn't describe the feeling.
I felt the wind rushing through my hair and smelt the salt in the water. This was perfect.
"I'm so sorry" Nick said when we pulled away "I feel so ashamed for accusing you like this" He said and looked down.
I shook my head and put my hands on his cheeks, making me look into my eyes. "Shut up and kiss me again" I giggled and he smiled, colliding our lips again. I played with his curls softly tugging on them, just like he loved it. I couldn't help but smile into the kiss, his timing was perfect. We finally were together again, like it was meant to be.
Nick pulled away again and embraced me into a tight hug. "I love you so much" He whispered down into my ear. I giggled a bit because it tickled.
"I love you too, Nicholas Jerry Jonas" I smiled widely looking into his eyes. I felt a teardrop falling down on my cheeks and look up to the skies, it was grey and suddenly it was pouring. I laughed out of pure joy. Nick smiled and kissed me again, with so much passion.
When he pulled away again, he still held my hands and got on one knee "Celina, I love you so much, words will never be able to describe, we made our mistakes and we found our way back together, we have one wonderful, precious daughter. You and Jenny make me the happiest man on earth, now I ask you, Celina Baker, love of my life, again. Will you marry me?" He asked and my tears were flooding down, without control, he was perfect.
He looked at me with his pleading puppy dog eyes, through the rain. I shook my head fast and shouted "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes" I fell down on my knees and hugged him tight.
He then slightly pulled away and pulled out the box he had when he proposed the first time. He took my hand and pulled the gorgeous ring on my finger.
I laughed and slung my arms back around his neck "I knew it, forever" He whispered into my ear. This was it, I was finally going to marry the love of my life.
