what if kids deal with negativity at home and listening to Jonas Brothers is what gives them an escape from that, despite how "real" or "fake" it is. I mean, really, who gives a shit. Music is almost religious in that it provides your soul with something to hang on to that isn't real. Hell, I grew up loving disney tunes, and I still enjoy learning about new bands and have a huge interest in film music and prog rock and indie and classical. If you want something real, listen to silence.
