Also...just wondering, did the Monkees ever have cartoons? I remember looking at some Monkees memorabilia and saw cartoon versions of them but have yet to find any episodes or shorts of it

I think they are on DVD. I downloaded these episodes online about three or four years ago, though. You should try to check an online store, perhaps?
The Monkees never had cartoons, sadly. :( There are artists (like meself :P) that draw cartoon versions of them, though. But to my knowledge they had no real cartoon on television, just their TV show.
