Michael Jackson Receives Merit Award - AMA 1984

Kenny Rogers presents the 1984 American Music Award of Merit to 25 year-old Michael Jackson. Quincy Jones, Liza Minelli, Barry Manilow, and Diana Ross speak in his honor. Michael then accepts
the award on stage, thanking the American public, Barry Gordy, his parents, his brothers, Suzzane De Passe, his producer Quincy Jones, and Diana Ross.

@crazy4corbinbleux Michael was healthy all his life. Even after his death and autopsy reported that he was healthy and at the normal weight for a man of his height of 5'9-that height from aging. But in this video, he looked amazing. He was just a lean guy like he always been since he was in his early teens. I dont see his hair falling out, his skin breaking out, bags under his eyes, skin hanging from him, and him looking like he's about kill over so clearly he was portrayed healthy in this video

@crazy4corbinbleux Michael SAID himself that he wrote the book, genius! Omg, that's why it pays to discover. What I dont get is how you are indicating that being underweight is unhealthy. WRONG! Being underweight doesnt necessarily mean you are unhealthy. In many cases, it is hereditary like me for example and can be as a result of certain lifestyle and in Michael's case he clearly he was a dancer with a strict diet that he adopted to clear his acne and to be in shape for active lifstyle.

How about you get some common sense-- you don't seem to have a clue that books put out by celebrities are obviously written by other people/aided strongly by advisers: INCLUDING MoonWALK (not "moonwalker"). I've read some of Moonwalk and yes, he wanted to have a dancer's body-- that doesn't mean along with the process he became very underweight (as portrayed in this video).

@crazy4corbinbleux Honey, I have proper vision and everyone who knows the human body understands that your wrist bone is somewhat pronounced in anyone who is of normal weight. But the point is, Michael was healthy and he wanted to be fit in order to have a great deal of energy for his dancing. I'm not about to look up an inaccurate source. Why dont you try Moonwalker which is more accurate source because OMG it came from him. Maybe next time you'll be more accurate.

@Ladymodel Uhh that's not me "over exaggerating". Anyone with proper vision can notice the huge bulge of bone sticking out of his wrists-- that indicates you are underweight. Just look at 3:53 when he's holding the microphone. I'm not trying to sound rude here because *believe it or not* i'm a HUGE fan--but also a realist who can recognize an underweight person when they see one.Actually, he was less than 125 here. More like 100-110 lbs. Look up Wikipedia. He was most skinny during Thriller era.

@crazy4corbinbleux OMG you are over exaggerating! What bones sticking out his wrist? What are you talking about? If anything I see muscle and veins from him working out constantly. And no he did not weight a 100 lbs in Thriller era, he weigh around 125 and later on in his life he reached 137. The man was just lean; he was a dancer. On top of that, Michael had a strict diet with a regimen built on fruits and veggies so he was very healthy. Get your shit straight!
