I set up infeed and outfeed tables to run long boards through my table saw for 1/4 inch cedar strips. A power feeder moves the board through the saw smoothly and the strips are perfect

  • Does the powerfeeder also push the wood against the fence?

  • @JustWonderingHowToDo Yes it does.

I forgot to ask what brand and type powerfeeder you're using?

  • @JustWonderingHowToDo It is a Co-Matic Baby Feeder, 1/8 horsepower. It is the smallest I've seen. Other brands look just like it. It is quite old now. probably 15 years or so.

  • I made my own bead and cove planes and hand planed the edges. I've also beveled the edges with a little palm plane. Bead and cove isn't perfect because the feather edge of the cove is very delicate and splinters easily.
