Unfortunately this "wildfire" was not wild. It was started by man, and burned unnaturally in a much more destructive manner, killing precious rare forest and wildlife in SoCal. 100 years of fire suppression in this area created a "powder keg-tinderbox" and the fire destroyed the seedbank of future trees. In San Diego, the same thing happened, and now there are volunteers planting saplings to help mother nature.

  • ugghhh why couldnt i have been there i love wildfires i live in texas and unfourtanetly we dnt get em this big

  • perfect video to watch if you want to learn Fire Behavior, thats the type that gets you hurt if you dont pay attention awesome video.

  • FIYA!!!

  • for the first couple days that fire was more then 50 miles wide. I don't think he is a fire video he had the radio on. He was just probably leaving his ass and started filming im sure if he stayed to long they would tell me to get going.

  • Wow - this is incredible footage! How were you allowed that close? Are you a fire fighter?
