Credit Card Scam (Call #1)

I keep getting calls from a company that wants to help me lower my credit card interest rates. They ask you for your social security and credit card numbers. The caller ID says they're from Florida, but I'm sure they spoofed the number (if you try calling back, it says the number is disconnected). There are tons of complaints on the Internet about such scamming calls.

This video shows one of those calls. This is kinda long and boring, but my goal was to keep the caller on as long as I could before I drop the bomb (celebrity soundboard) on them. The actual call lasted over 18 minutes.

I've been getting these calls everyday on all four of our phones for the past 8 months now. The number changes every so often. I have two phones (personal and work), my wife's cell and our home phone. Sometimes I'll get called as early as 4:30AM and as late as 11:45PM. I wish I had a way to exact my revenge on these people. They really do deserve a horrible death. Skinned by BB gun firing squad, and then dipped in a salt bath.

I wonder if the scams are US based and has any news organization done a report on them.
